Sports Physical Therapist (CAS), MS in Environmental Management

Alessandro lives in Milan (Italy) with his three children. Since he was a child, he was keen in sports, starting from under 6 athletics to national fast track competitions (100, 200, 400 mt. and relays) at the legendary Arena of Milan. He also played capoeira, thai boxe, alpine ski, swimming, climbing, horse riding, trail running and more recently rugby.

He studied at Bocconi University in Milan and obtained a Degree in Economics with a specialisation in Statistics for Economics followed by a Master Degree in Environmental Management.
He worked firstly at “il Trittico” bookshop, then at “PM & Partners” Private Equity Fund as a Business Analyst and finally at “Valdani Vicari Consulting” in the marketing and quantitative research field.

After 9 years Alessandro decided to change his life and decided to merge his passion with the job.
He enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Milan University where he graduated summa cum laude. After different working experiences in the orthopaedic, neurological, cardio-respiratory rehabilitation fields, he started working as a Sports Physiotherapist with the “Vittorio Veneto Volley” team (4 seasons in 2nd division) and the “Rugby Milano” & “Rugby Parco Sempione” clubs since 2014, collecting expertise working with players from the under 6 years old category up to the 1st division ones.

The passion of sport and interest for human nature and physiology pushed himself beyond the hobby and finally it has become his work activity as Sports Physiotherapist.
He completed many different postgraduate courses, focused on Evidence-Based Practice, held by some of the main clinicians and researchers in the rehabilitation field, such as Y. Le Meur, D. Neumann, G. Simoneau, T. Gabbett, C. Ardern, P. Glasgow, L. Herrington, C. Cook, P. Visentini, M. Stewart, B. Dubois, L. Moseley, P Malliaras, T. Flynn, C. Powers, J. Nijs, A. Cools, W. Boissonnault, S. Gibbons, O. Gagey.

In 2019, he completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Sports Physioterapy at SUPSI University (Lugano, Switzerland).

He currently works in his private practice in Milan, Italy and at Sports Rehab in Switzerland.
