Fabio was born in 1988 and grew up around Varese, Italy.

He earned a BSc in Physical Therapy and has extensive experience treating and rehabilitating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-operative disorders.

Fabio practiced various sports from a young age, including tennis and swimming. At the age of 10, he started playing basketball, a passion that accompanied him throughout his adolescence.

He played for Cestistica Gorlese until the age of 21. After stepping away from competitive sports, he dedicated several years to coaching the youth sector at Pallacanestro Rescaldina, contributing to the growth of young athletes and sharing his love for the sport.

Due to injuries, he discovered physical therapy thanks to Dr. Giovanni Battista Monti, the father of the Italian sports traumatology.

Inspired by Monti's passion and knowledge of movement and the biomechanics of athletic performance, Fabio decided to pursue studies in physical therapy in Lugano, where he graduated with honors with a BSc from the Swiss Red Cross in 2012.

Fabio immediately enrolled in a university Master's level program in manual therapy, sponsored by the GSTM School in Milan, Italy enriching his desire for knowledge and professional growth. He then achieved the certification as an Ortokinetic Physical Therapist in 2017.

He firmly believes in the importance of patients' education and prevention as essential elements for maintaining the long-term well-being. Driven by this principles, he continues to seek out training and specialization, including Dry Needling and Graston Technique for soft tissue treatment.

Throughout his career, Fabio has deepened his understanding of athletic movement by collaborating with professional and amateur sports teams, contributing to injury prevention and functional recovery in various disciplines, including tennis, ice skating, swimming, soccer, and basketball.

In his personal life, Fabio enjoys spending time with his family and his dogs.

Fabio joined the Sports Rehab team in February 2025.
