Salaroli

Physical Therapist, MS MSK Disorders Rehabilitation

Giulia was born in Milan (Italy) in 1998. From an early age, she developed a strong passion for movement and body expression, beginning ballet at the age of 3 and later practicing artistic gymnastics. At the age of 11, she chose to pursue a professional training path at Accademia Ucraina di Balletto in Milan (Italy), where she underwent years of intensive study and daily training, graduating as a professional ballet dancer in 2017.

Over the following two years, she worked as a professional dancer in ballet companies performing in tours and productions across Europe. This experience allowed her to gain a deep understanding of the physical, technical, and psychological demands placed on both artists and athletes.

In 2019, driven by her passion for the human body and the deep connection with movement developed through dance, she decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. In 2021, she graduated with honors from Università degli Studi dell'Insubria (Italy) and immediately continued her education with a Master's degree in Musculoskeletal Disorders Rehabilitation at Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy), completed in 2024.

Over the years, she began working first in outpatient settings and later in sports environments, developing a patient-centered approach based on active listening and the latest scientific evidence. Her main areas of practice include musculoskeletal disorders, orthopaedic conditions, persistent pain, and post-operative rehabilitation.

Her background in the ballet world has also enabled her to develop specific expertise in the management of professional dancers, leading her to collaborate once again with Accademia Ucraina di Balletto as their reference physiotherapist.

In her free time, Giulia enjoys strength training, aerial acrobatics, reading, traveling, and spending time in nature with her dog.
