Paola was born in Varese (Italy) in 1990.

She has always been passionate about sports, practicing artistic gymnastics for several years until becoming a coach and competition judge.

As a teenager, she developed an interest in the healthcare field, so after completing her studies at a social and psychological high school, she began her journey in physiotherapy at the University of Varese (Italy). She graduated with honors, presenting an experimental thesis in the field of orthopedics and pediatrics.

After her first work experience in the orthopedic and neurological department of a nursing home in Varese (Italy), she decided to focus on the rehabilitation of female and male pelvic floor dysfunction, continuing her career in Canton Ticino.

The complexity of this branch of physical therapy sparked her interest, leading Paola to further her training through numerous theoretical and practical courses, including an international advanced training course in 2019 and a Master's Degree in Manual Therapy for Pelvic Disorders in 2021.

A further step in her training came with the completion of Master's Degree in the Treatment of Pelvic Dysfunctions at the Bicocca University of Milan (Italy) in 2023.

Given the sensitivity of this area of rehabilitation and the need for high interpersonal and communication skills with patients, she decided to enroll in Sexual Counseling Training at the AISPA School (Italian Association of Sexology) in Milan (Italy) in 2024.

Dynamic and ambitious, she is ready to put herself out there to learn, grow, and improve. Her determination and elegance are also reflected in her passions, which include functional training, outdoor excursions, adrenaline sports, and dancing.

Paola joined the I AM Pelvic Rehab team in 2025.
