Physical therapist, specialized in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation
Sara was born in 1998 in Milan.
During high school, she decided to study abroad for a year, attending her senior year in the United States. This experience allowed her to grow personally, meet new people, enrich her cultural background, and improve her English skills. In 2017, she achieved her American high school diploma and, the following year, completed her linguistic high school degree in Italy, acquiring proficiency in English, German, and French.
From a young age, Sara was fascinated by the medical field, drawn to the possibility of establishing a direct relationship with patients and supporting them empathetically throughout their recovery journey. During her studies at the University of Milan, she enhanced her studies through specialized courses and internships in some of the most renowned city's hospitals. She graduated in physiotherapy with top honors, presenting an experimental research project in the orthopedic field.
After graduating, she moved to Lugano to begin her professional career. While she had a strong passion for orthopedics, she developed an interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy and, in 2023, she obtained the title of expert in pelvic-perineal rehabilitation at the Alta Formazione Center of Medical Caló in Bari. Through this specialization, she realized that her true goal was to help people overcome issues related to this crucial and sensitive area, ensuring patients feel comfortable and fully supported.
She is currently pursuing a three-year program in Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology, convinced that a comprehensive and integrated approach is vital to consider all aspects of a patient's well-being. This allows her to gain a deeper understanding of the connections between mind and body, providing more effective and up-to-date therapeutic tools.
Empathy, curiosity, and a constant desire for improvement are the strengths that shape her daily work, with the aim of guaranteeing the well-being in each patient.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
